President Donald Trump is again publicly weighing another White House term despite constitutional limits, per HuffPost.

On Thursday (January 22), Trump took to his Truth Social platform to openly question whether he should seek another term.

“RECORD NUMBERS ALL OVER THE PLACE! SHOULD I TRY FOR A FOURTH TERM?” Trump wrote.

Trump's comment comes amid his repeated flirtations with a third presidential run, despite the 22nd Amendment, which limits presidents to two terms. In March, Trump told NBC News he was “not joking” about the idea, saying, “A lot of people want me to do it.” The president has also said he would “love" to run again, but it "wouldn’t be right.”

Last month, Trump claimed he was offered $250 million to run for a third term by billionaire GOP donor Miriam Adelson.

It remains unclear what Trump meant by referencing a “fourth” term. The president has repeatedly and falsely claimed that he won the 2020 election, which he lost to Joe Biden, and could be implying that his current term is effectively his third. trump's comment could also suggest an attempt to serve two additional terms.
