Registration Opens For CBCF’s 54th Annual Legislative Conference

The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation (CBCF) has opened registration for the 54th Annual Legislative Conference (ALC), set for September 24–28, 2025, in Washington, D.C. Widely regarded as the nation’s leading policy gathering on issues affecting the global Black community, this year’s theme is “Made for This Moment: Power, Policy, & Progress.”

Senator Angela Alsobrooks and Representative Joe Neguse will serve as Honorary Co-Chairs, helping lead a conference focused on strengthening Black leadership and advancing equity. “We are in a defining moment for Black America — one where our collective power, civic engagement, and policy influence are shaping the future of this nation,” said Nicole Austin-Hillery, President and CEO of CBCF.

The conference will bring together thousands of policymakers, advocates, and thought leaders for policy sessions and cultural celebrations, along with signature events like the National Town Hall, Day of Healing Prayer Breakfast, The Black Party, and the Phoenix Awards Dinner.

For more than 50 years, ALC has served as a catalyst for change. At a time when democracy faces new challenges, the 54th ALC affirms that the Black community is “Made for This Moment.”

Registration is now open at cbcfinc.org/alc
